Andrew Dunn

Andrew Dunn qualified from the University of Liverpool in 1998 and went on to complete radiology training in Liverpool in 2005.

In 2006 Andrew completed a one year fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging from the University of Toronto before taking up a consultant position at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, where he is an honorary clinical lecturer. Andrew has published widely in the musculoskeletal imaging literature and has written book chapters on sports injury and upper limb imaging.

He is on the faculty of many national musculoskeletal imaging courses including the British Medical Ultrasound, British Society of Skeletal Radiology and Oswestry Spinal Imaging courses. He regularly lectures nationally and internationally at both radiology and orthopaedic meetings. Andrew maintains an active role in education, teaching on the Mersey School of Radiology and the Northern Deanery Fellowship of Sports and Exercise Medicine training programmes. Andrew provides imaging services to a number of Premier League and Championship football clubs and Super League rugby clubs in addition to other elite sports institutions throughout the northwest region, and was a member of the imaging team for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
